What to Get for Dad This Father's Day 2018
I had my husband Mark take the reigns on this post. I asked him to share some Dad-approved gift ideas for the upcoming Father's Day weekend. Below is a round up of his picks.
Father’s day screams nice weather, a local craft brew and grilling. Every guy loves grilling and every guy wants a charcoal grill, it’s in our DNA. Simply put, I feel like a boss when standing over a charcoal grill.
Espadrilles are perfect for the summer months. They are comfortable and go with most everything. I find myself living in them come the weekend.
I have a few pairs of Ray-Bans, this is by far my go to. Classic look but have a bit of flare.
One of my favorite things to do in the warm weather months is to go for a run. I starting running in Flyknits a couple years ago and loved them. Very light weight, comfortable and they look great.
By far my favorite jeans. Slim, tapered, tailored fit but without being too tight. There are so many brands and fits of jeans, but Joe’s just seems to get it right. Plus they are extremely comfortable.
I was gifted an Apple Watch and thought, “Oh, this is pretty cool”. I had no idea. I constantly use Suri to set reminders and calendar appointments and love the ability to quickly check notifications for email, text and calls without having to reach for my phone. I love the ability to track my runs and actually find it motivating. In fact, while I certainly worked out regularly prior to my Apple Watch, I found that is held me even more accountable and actually turned me into a runner.
Guys love to grill, see above. We also love to try the new sauces and rubs, especially those that others have yet to try.
Takes homemade cocktails up a notch. This tiny cherry truly makes cocktails more enjoyable and almost like you are went out for drink. You might even forget for a minute that you have two little ones sleeping upstairs that will surely wake you up entirely too early for a Saturday morning.
I love wearing a fedora in the summer months We are fortunate enough to live on the Seacoast and when we go to the beach or dine on the waterfront, wearing a fedora makes it feel all that much more like we are on vacation. Plus, it’s an effortless way to add interest to a look.
I started using this product about six years ago. I have thick hair and needed something with a strong hold that would last all day. This is it. Also love the fact that when used on dry hair and wet hair, its like an entirely different product. Not to mention, it washes out completely and easily with each wash, something that doesn’t always hold true with hair products.
