My Review of Warby Park's Home Try-On Program.

I need to wear glasses part time: while reading and during any screen time (so maybe that's full-time?!) It had been at least 5 years since my last eye exam and even longer since I had purchased new glasses. My vision had been getting noticeably worse (oh the joys of aging!). Nothing too crazy but I felt like I was really straining my eyes throughout the day and many times I would end the day with a headache.
It was time for an exam to reassess my vision. I booked an eye appointment locally and sure enough, I had a slight change in my vision and needed new glasses.
Enter, Warby Parker. Warby Parker offers designer eye wear at incredibly affordable prices. I had heard about them before with nothing but rave reviews so I decided to give them a try. The closest Warby Parker brick and mortar is in Boston so I opted to try their Home Try-On program and loved it. Keep reading for my experience.
Warby Parker Home Try-On process:
1. Select 5 frames that you think you may like from their website.
2. They ship the chosen frames directly to your home.
3. Try out the frames for 5 days. You can even ask friends and family what they think by using the Warby Parker app.
4. Select a frame that looks amazing on you!
5. After 5 days, ship all the frames back using the prepaid shipping label.
6. Drop them in the mail and you're done.
Once you've decided on a frame, you simply upload your prescription to the website and your new glasses are shipped within days.
Keep scrolling to see which frames I chose! To my surprise, they were NOT the pair I originally thought I wanted.

Warby Parker not only provides designer eye wear at an affordable price but they give back with their Buy a Pair, Give a Pair initiative.
Warby Parker's Buy a Pair, Give a Pair
2.5 billion people around the world need glasses but don’t have access to them; of these, 624 million cannot effectively learn or work due to the severity of their visual impairment.
Warby Parker works with trusted partners worldwide to ensure that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is given to someone in need.
I love the glasses and the process couldn't have been easier! I purchased these frames with the prescription for $95 total. I would have paid at least double if not more elsewhere. And the fact that I know the glasses I purchased enhance the vision and life of someone else feels amazing.
Have you tried Warby Parker? I'd love to hear about your experience.
